Washwood Heath Technology College has an obligation to ensure that risks are minimised and neither the staff nor the organisation are unnecessarily exposed to hazardous situations, which may result in harmful litigation, and both human and financial cost.

The aim of these policys is to ensure that new staff or staff on training placements are not only fully equipped for the challenges of their new post, but that they are welcomed into the organisation and embrace the culture of the school ethos. It is hoped that the current staff and new staff process will be a positive experience, which will foster good will on both sides and lead to a constructive working relationships.

Washwood Heath Technology College will promote an awareness of these policys to all its employees and other staff working within school and the LEA,, and will audit both corporate and local induction data for compliance.
